You are not on the agency’s website or on a blog about how beautiful Dubai looks from the hotel terrace.
LiveDXB is the author's city portal about how life really works here: where it is convenient to raise children, how long daily logistics take, what the selected area costs, and what real estate shortcomings usually remain outside the advertising.
The main question of LiveDXB is not:
What property should you sell?
It sounds different:
What kind of life do you want to build in Dubai?
Real estate does not exist separately from life
When a person chooses an apartment, he simultaneously chooses much more:
- how much time will you spend driving?
- how children will get to school;
- Is it possible to go for a walk in the evening;
- Is it convenient to pick up delivery;
- where bicycles and suitcases will be stored;
- how often will you have to use the car;
- how difficult it is to leave the area in the morning;
- what expenses will appear in addition to rent or mortgage;
- whether the family will be able to continue living here in a few years.
Two similar apartments can create completely different quality of life.
One saves time, reduces daily stress and helps the family maintain a routine.
The other gradually turns every day into a chain of small inconveniences: traffic jams, parking, long routes, lack of storage, noise and constant dependence on the car.
In the advertisement these differences are almost invisible.
LiveDXB exists to make them visible.
City as a product
I worked as a product designer for over fifteen years.
My task was not only to create beautiful interfaces. It was necessary to understand people's behavior, their tasks, doubts, mistakes and real-life scenarios for using the product.
Now I'm applying the same method to the city and real estate.
A region can be viewed as a system of interaction.
A house is like a physical product.
An apartment is like an interface to everyday life.
If a person has to perform unnecessary actions every day in an application, this is a bad user experience. If a resident of the house waits for an elevator every day, cannot conveniently leave the parking lot, or does not know where to store things, this is the same systemic problem - only fixing it after purchase is much more difficult.
What will happen on LiveDXB
LiveDXB develops on four levels.
City magazine
Personal observations, neighborhood stories, changes in Dubai, city culture and real life scenarios.
Knowledge Base
Structured information about areas, houses, schools, developers, renting, buying and moving.
Analytics
Analysis of prices, transactions, expenses, liquidity and quality of specific real estate.
Tools
Comparison of areas, calculation of the total cost of living, viewing checklists and personal recommendations.
Not all tools already exist. The project pages will clearly indicate what is working, what is in development, and what data requires further verification.
Independence and commercial work
I work as a real estate consultant at Nevsky Realty.
When a person needs to search for an property, organize viewings, negotiate or support a transaction, I can help professionally.
But LiveDXB should not turn into an advertising showcase because of this.
Editorial content does not have to lead to a purchase.
Sometimes the correct conclusion is that the area is not suitable, the property is overvalued, it is better to postpone the purchase, and renting now is more reasonable.
Trust is more important than quick conversion.
Who is LiveDXB created for?
For people who want:
- move to Dubai;
- choose an area for your family;
- rent housing;
- buy a house for yourself;
- purchase investment property;
- understand the market without advertising pressure;
- to understand whether Dubai is suitable for them at all.
LiveDXB does not make decisions for a person.
It helps you see the full picture before mistakes become costly.
