I work as a real estate consultant at Nevsky Realty and at the same time create LiveDXB. These roles are related to the same professional area, but solve different problems.
What does a consultant do?
In commercial work, I help formulate a request, find options, organize viewings, interact with agents and owners, negotiate and support the transaction process. There is a specific client and a practical result.
What does LiveDXB do?
The portal collects knowledge that is useful before and independently of contacting a consultant. Material about the area should help the reader, even if he never becomes a client. The conclusion can lead to either a purchase or a refusal.
Where does a conflict of interest arise?
It is possible if the author benefits from a specific decision. Therefore, the commercial context cannot be hidden. If the item is related to my work, partnership or remuneration, this must be indicated separately.
What remains the same
The shortcomings of the property do not disappear because of the opportunity to carry out a transaction. The editorial standard requires the separation of facts, ad data, personal observations and professional judgment. The reader must see what the conclusion is based on.
Why is this important
Real estate requires trust, but trust is not built on the promise of absolute independence from the profession. It is built on transparency: who the author is, where they work, what interest exists, and why a particular conclusion can be verified.
