Dubai Electricity and Water Authority is responsible for electricity and water. Activation will require tenant and property data, and Ejari may be involved in the process. Check the current requirements and deposit in the official service.
Cooling
In some homes, cooling is included in the building design, in others it is served by a separate district cooling provider, and sometimes the costs are distributed differently. Before the contract, you need to find out the supplier, the availability of the meter, the deposit and the tariff structure.
Gas and hot water
Gas may be centralized, connected by a separate company, or absent. The method of heating water also depends on the house. These details affect both the costs and the date of actual completion of the apartment.
Internet
Check available operators and connection options specifically in the building. The advertised speed does not always mean the availability of the selected tariff in a particular apartment.
Access cards and home services
Parking, elevators, gym and entrance may require registration with management. Collect contacts of the management company and a list of necessary documents before handing over the keys.
The final check is simple: light, water, cooling, Internet and access should not be promised, but actually work.
