Moving to Dubai is always stressful and we often make the same mistakes. In this note, I have collected five mistakes that I myself have made and that I see in other families, so that you can avoid them. The first is to underestimate the time and resources required to complete documents. It is better to allocate a few days in advance for visas, Emirates ID and connection of utilities. The second thing is to overestimate your strength in the first month: instead of getting into endless viewings and repairs, give yourself time to adapt, walk around the areas and explore the city gradually.
